Correspondence

We received a news letter from the New York State Conservation Counsel and it is posted on the board.

We received a letter from the Romulus High School requesting a donation for Project Grad Night, A drug and alcohol free party for seniors held at Hobart William Smith College.

We received another from the Special Olympics requesting our donation.                                                    

  

Committee Reports

Mac Shoot: Scott MacIntosh reported that JR Tuuri has fully sponsored the gun for the 10th annual shoot for $700.00. He also reported that to date ticket sales are at $1100.00 for the gun raffle and Bruce Clark from Buckhorn has donated a nice air rifle for the Mac Shoot. Scott also wants us to push Mac Shoot ticket sales.

 

Chicken and Biscuit Dinner:  Pudge Wech reported that it was a slow night but we made a little money and had a good bar for the night.

 

Fish Dinners: Chris Woodard reported that he is going to put on a fish dinner every Friday night in March the 7th ,14th ,21st and 28th .

 

Old Business

Club Finances: Dick Black reported that we need to change the way we do business at the club. We need to have a better accounting of what happens to the merchandise from leaving the back room all the way to the bank.

Pat Ess is going to do a full accounting of our business statements for 2007 and try to find out what is happening to our finances.

Dick Black said he is going to seek prosecution if we find out that someone has been stealing from the club

The Board voted to have Pat Ess do a full accounting of our books  8 yes 0 no

 

New Business

Jim Williamson made a motion to send Project Grad Night $50.00 it was second by Chris Woodard and put to a vote 7 yes 0 no and 1 abstained.

 

Jim Williamson made a motion to send The Special Olympics a letter regretting that we can not send them a donation this year because of our financial situation and we will donate next year it was second by Chris Woodard and put to a vote 8 yes and 0 no.
