Correspondence

Two letters from the Seneca County Federation of Sportsmen’s Clubs, one requesting dues, advertising and names of delegates from our club and another requesting our clubs vote on antlerless deer regulations.

We received a letter from the Town of Romulus thanking us for our donation for the Davis baseball field.

Committee Reports & Upcoming Events:

 

Horsemen’s Association Dinner:

Bill Wech reported that he had the best help ever for the dinner and it brought in $1164.00. Bill also thanked all the members that helped with the dinner.

 

Fish Dinner:

Chris Woodard reported that he had good help for the dinner and it brought in $500.00. Chris also thanked his help.

 

Game Dinner:

Dick Jensen reported that the game dinner brought in $610.00 for dinners and $129.00 for raffles and a $400.00 bar. Dick thanked his help and Dick, Chris and Bill received a round of applause for their efforts.

Pudge Wech thanked Chuck Buisch for building the heatalator for the fireplace and racks for the ovens. Chuck thanked the members that have been cutting wood.

 

SCF of SC:

Steve Rondo reported that the club needs to vote on proposed DEC regulations for hunting antlerless deer. The club voted 31 yes 0 no for no more antlerless restrictions.

Steve also reported that the SCF of SC will have their annual meeting and dinner at our club on April 19th.

 

Old Business:

Pudge Wech told the floor that the Bob Rogers matter was taken care of by the previous Board and their actions on the matter would stand.

 

New Business:

Chris Woodard wants to have Friday night dinners in March.

 

Pudge Wech reported on the efforts of streamlining and cost saving measures that have been implemented since the first of the year and that because of increasing costs of doing business at the club we need to increase our prices for beer and liquor. Dick Black reported on price increases to the club to justify the increases in our bar prices.

Jack Russell made a motion to raise the bar prices .50 cents across the board. It was second by Gary Covert and passed by a vote of 28 yes and 3 no.
